Are the spring flowers blooming in your neighborhood or craft room? I have a beautiful, colorful and easy DIY Felt Flower Gift Tag tutorial for you. These gift tags are great, because you can make a big batch of them and have them ready for birthday presents, hostess gifts, baby shower presents and you can also attach a gift card to them.
Here is my supplies list for our Felt Flower Gift tags:
To begin, select about 4-5 different and coordinating colors of Kunin Classicfelt.
Next, cut your felt flowers with a die cutting system, or you can always create your own patterns and freehand cut your flowers. The die cutting will allow you to make several cuts at one time of a certain flower or leaf. I can usually cut up to 3 pieces of felt with a Sizzix Bigz die.
For each tag, I had a leaf and 2 flower pieces. I used hot glue to adhere the felt together and onto the tag. I was able to create 10 gift tags in no time at all and they were all different colors and combinations of flower pieces. You can use the scrap pieces of the felt to create strings for the tags, just loop the felt and (carefully) use hot glue to adhere the felt together.
You will be able to “gift away” these handmade tags on gift bags and presents, and they will be a source of happiness for your friends and family who receive them.
You can now find an expanded color line of Kunin Eco-fi Classicfelt; Eco-fiPlus™ Premiumfelt and ShaggiChic non-wovens fabrics in cut by the yard at your local Walmart; please inquire as to what is available in your area.
